Treehouse is the unique sound of Piano, Vibraphone and Bass. Focusing on the compositions of leader Tom Hewson, they take the improvisational drive of jazz into a chamber context, leading to music that moves effortlessly between delicacy and power. With a MOBO winner in Lewis Wright (Empirical) and Mercury nominee in Calum Gourlay (Kit Downes Trio), they have performed at venues and festivals including the London Jazz Festival, Oxford Jazz Festival, Kings Place, Canterbury Festival, The Forge and many more. Treehouse will be recording their first album in the autumn of 2012.
